A medium format camera is a camera that yields a large negative. It's about 2.5 times larger then a 135mm negative. There are various makers of medium format cameras such as Hasselblad, Mamiya, Rolei, Fuji, and Pentax. I use a medium format camera( see image below), thereby getting more information on the negative, and combined with high quality optics used in manufacturing, resulting in more detail and clarity in your photographs.
